Raccoon and politics might make strange bedfellows in some states, but not in Arkansas, where the annual Coon Supper is seen by many as the kickoff of the election season. Ruth Atkins, 96, said she wanted to make sure she went to one more coon supper. She said the raccoon meat was not as good as she remembered.
